Russia denounces interference from Google and Facebook in regional elections

Russia’s Federal Communications, Information Technology and Media Oversight Service (Roskomnadzor) said Google and Facebook had tried to interfere with elections in the country. On Sunday, millions of Russians left to elect their governors and deputies from various regions and the Moscow city hall. However, according to Roskomnadzor, violations were committed in the country by both Google and Facebook. Both sites have been accused of making political propaganda when such activity is prohibited in the country. “Such actions are a real interference in Russia’s sovereign affairs and a hindrance to holding democratic elections in Russia,” Roskomnadzor said in a public statement…. Russia’s gold reserves reach new highs amid de-dollarization

MOSCOW – Russia has been accumulating bar gold in recent years in an attempt to ease its economy’s dependence on the US dollar. India gives advance for purchase of Russian S-400 systems

MOSCOW – Deliveries from the Russian S-400 air defense systems will be made in 18-19 months and on time. The contract is already prepaid, Russian Deputy Prime Minister announced. “[The contract] is prepaid, and everything will be delivered on time, it seems to me it will be 18 or 19 months,” Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said of S-400 supplies to India in an interview with Russian television channel Rossiya 1. Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter will digitally modernize into even stronger war vehicles
