Flores: War in the Balkans? ‘Redrawing Borders’ Fight Shows Major Conflict on Horizon

Published 2019-03-11 19:09:05 by Joaquin Flores in Eurasia, Headline-News, Nato, Opinions, Serbia

Whenever there is talk of redrawing borders between geopolitical entities, these precipitate or come as the consequence of a major war. Such is the scenario now in the central and west Balkans, as the Serbian government led by Vucic’s Progressive Party, proposes a redrawing of the de-facto map, that would see a land-swap. There is nothing war-like in Vucic’s proposal, rather his proposal hopes to cool-off the present Greater Albanian escalation. But the debate surrounding it reveals that the US plans to further hack Serbia down in size, as punishment for continued defiance. Russia, on the other hand, entirely supports… Continue ->

Russia-China Demolished U.S Military in War Games, but is China’s Geopolitical Position as Simple?

How Mainstream Media Made Me a Climate Skeptic

Published 2019-03-11 12:57:26 by Joris De Draeck in Anglo-5, Conspiracy-Theories, Opinions, Science, United-States

Editor’s note: We present this Op-ed to our readers not as a reflection of FRN’s editorial line on climate change, or as it was called before that, global warming, and before that in the  70’s – global cooling. What appears undeniable is that the climate is changing, and has changed historically. No one here at FRN is qualified to a scientific opinion on the science of climate change, or whether this is anthropogenic in nature. Many nominally credible scientists claim and provide various forms of evidence that it is. The proposition on the face of it is neither unthinkable, but… Continue ->
