Germany and Russia: natural partners, so why no progress? One of them is a US colony

Published 2019-01-01 17:18:22 by Tom Winter in Eurasia, Germany, Russia

Thomas Röper* in Anti-Spiegel: I am asked how Russo-German relations developed in 2018. Unfortunately I have to say that not much has developed there. The reason for this is to be found in geopolitics. Geopolitics at first glance is a topic that is complicated. But only at first glance. In fact, in principle, it is the same as relationships between people, for example, at work. There, too, we know people who use intrigue for their benefit. Geopolitics is nothing else. Someone tries to gain one advantage over another, using third parties that he can either manipulate or even pressure to… Continue ->

Der Spiegel lies about Russia and Ukraine at every opportunity

Published 2019-01-01 12:50:54 by Tom Winter in Eurasia, Germany, Russia, Ukraine

Anti-Spiegel: Propaganda in Der Spiegel: How Der Spiegel lies at every opportunity about the Ukraine conflict Is Der Spiegel “lying press” or at just “omission press”? When it comes to the conflict in Ukraine, yes to both. This can easily be seen today in a recent Spiegel article on the agreed ceasefire in eastern Ukraine. New Year is the most important holiday of the year in Russia and also in the Ukraine, just as Christmas is in Germany.
