SERBIA PREPARES FOR MILITARY CONFRONTATION WITH ALBANIA – CARRIES OUT LARGEST MILITARY MOBILIZATION IN COUNTRY’S HISTORY

The largest military exercises in the history of Serbia, involving nearly ten-thousand troops and hundreds of pieces of equipment, tanks, planes, began on Saturday morning in different regions of the country.

FRN is aware from inside sources within the Serbian military establishment, as we are based in Belgrade, that the scope of these drills is larger than officially reported. This is because the Serbian military is nearly twice the size as is reported to the EU and NATO, for reasons which are deducible once the history and present scenario is understood. Serbia is able to hide its military in other forces, including police, paramilitary, the gendarmerie, as well as military schools. Additionally, ‘citizens groups’ have popped up numbering in thousands, which train under the guise of uniformed Air-Soft teams.

Serbia with security and military assurances from the CSTO, led by Moscow, has increasingly shown it is lining up with Moscow and Minsk over a broad range of CSTO security matters. The Slavic Brotherhood exercises have took place over the last number of consecutive years, perfecting the coordinated joint military work of Belarus, Serbia, and Russia. This comes despite official statements from Belgrade, that Serbia is both neutral and as cooperative with NATO as reasonably possible. Specifically in question now are those which effect the former center of Yugoslavia, Belgrade.

Belgrade’s attempts to maintain a reasonably neutral relation with NATO is understandable – Serbia is surrounded on all sides by NATO or NATO aspirant countries, and simultaneously, NATO and KFOR since 1999 is occupying a whole region of southern Serbia known as Kosovo. Simultaneously, Serbia has allowed Russia to build a Military-Intelligence (GRU) base of operations in Nish, under the auspices of ’emergency and disaster relief operations’.

Leading up to these more recent events, we find that increasingly the leadership of Serbia’s neighbor, the Republika Srpska – the ethnic Serbian majority Republic inside of Bosnia & Herzegovina to Serbia’s immediate west – are becoming increasingly vocal about their desire to secede from Bosnia through a referendum process, and rejoin Belgrade.

Republika Srpska (or Serbian Republic, with its de facto capital Banja Luka) and the Republic of Serbia (with its capital, Belgrade) have been increasingly intertwining military and police information, intelligence, and training.

Likewise, Bosniak Islamist extremists have the largest Al Qaeda/ISIS training camp this side of Istanbul, in the world, immediately in the Muslim-dominant parts of the Bosnian side of Bosnia. They are determined to provoke a series of terrorist attacks, guerrilla maneuvers, and false flag events coordinated under the direction of NATO and the Gulf Monarchies, in order to increase destabilization in the region and create a ‘Green Corridor’ of Wahabbist and Qutbist influence, also known as Daesh.

Saudi financed Air-Soft teams were discovered training in the Sandzak region, and were broken up by Serbian authorities. In this region, Wahhabis and Qutbist Islamist extremists are coordinating the activities of Albanians and Bosniaks in order to make this an organized part of the Umma, or world of Islam. The regional center of Sandzak is Novi Pazar (see map above), close to the US-Albania occupied region of southern Serbia, known as Kosovo.

With the aim of maintaining the specter of normality and as to not unnecessarily raise alarm bells in this, one of the world’s least stable and most war-prone regions in history, this massive military show-of-force is being couched conveniently as a commemoration of WWI. Serbia was a member of the Allies against the Central Powers in WWI.

The Treaty of Neuilly-sur-Seine and the Treaty of Trianon saw Serbia and Yugoslavia gain territory from Austria-Hungary and Bulgaria.

The respective event is called “Winner’s Century” and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

“The last maneuvers that could really be compared to the ‘Winner’s Century’, by their size and complexity, were ‘Freedom’ and ‘Unity’ in the distant years of 1971 and 1975. Since then no one has dared or failed to demonstrate such force and such an organization,” commented the country’s Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin.

According to the ministry, drills that span 10 points across the country involve 100 M-84 tanks, 100 infantry combat vehicles, 100 different artillery and missile pieces, more than 60 fluvial flotilla vessels, 24 aircraft and helicopters and 125 tonnes of ammunition will be used.

In fact, during the maneuvers will be presented the most modern examples of the Serbian defense industry – the Lazar armored personnel carrier, the Nora self-propelled howitzer and the Malo Milos remote control combat module.

The Serbian Ministry of Defense drew particular attention to the fact that a special operations police battalion, Cobras, is the most well-trained Serb unit to combat terrorism and protect the highest personalities in the state.
The Serbian maneuvers are taking place amid allegations by the Albanian authorities of the self-proclaimed Kosovo Republic that they are planning to announce next November the creation of their Armed Forces.

Back in September Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic ordered the deployment of the army in a state of maximum combat readiness in response to the actions of the special forces of the self-proclaimed Kosovo Republic.

About 60 Kosovo Special Forces soldiers took positions near the artificial lake of the Serb Gazivoda hydroelectric plant on the border with Kosovo and controlled by Serbia. Kosovo forces also entered the Center for Ecology and Sport Development in the lake area.

The Kosovo War between the Ethnically Albanian Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and the Yugoslav Forces, consisting of Serbia and Montenegro in 1998-1999, ended after the UN-backed international intervention on behalf of their Albanian proxies, following NATO’s bombing of Yugoslav troops as well as civilians in the city of Belgrade, where as many as 10-15 thousand Serbian civilians were slaughtered by American war-planes.

In 2008, Kosovo Albanian groups in Pristina unilaterally proclaimed Serbia’s independence, and more than 100 UN member states officially recognized Kosovo. However, Serbia, alongside Russia, China, India, Iran, and nearly 100 other countries does not recognize the independence of Kosovo. The world is literally split in half over this question. Moreover, and more significantly, the UN itself does not recognize Kosovo as an independent country, and many UN member states recognize that it is under foreign occupation.

Serbia is the primary successor state of Yugoslavia; Yugoslavia was broken up by the EU and NATO into four additional mini-states – Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Then, as a result of a highly suspect referendum, Montenegro broke its union-state status with Serbia in 2006. While NATO had been occupying the Kosovo region of Serbia since 1999, the U.S embassy coordinated a faux referendum in the region as well, in 2008, granting it nominal independence from Serbia, which ass mentioned above, is not recognized by the UN.

FRN and the Center for Syncretic Studies area based in Belgrade, with CSS opening its doors at the end of 2012. Our experts assessed that the next major conflict, following the war in Syria, was likely to occur in this region, chiefly surrounding Serbia. This is due to the fact that the invasion of Syria had not only the destruction of Iran as its final goal, but the increased surrounding and confrontation with Russia in mind. Thus, the confluence and intersection of radical Islamist terrorism combined with a larger proxy war against Russia, was accurately assessed. However, rather than the violence occurring first in the West Balkans, we witnessed the Color Revolution in Ukraine instead, financed by the U.S using its NGO’s, private capital firms, Soros-type organizations, Radio-Liberty/Radio Free Europe, the NED, and US-AID.
