The Israeli company Rafael has published a video showing the capabilities of new technologies demonstrated in reference to Russian S-400 and Pantsir-S anti-aircraft systems , RT reported.

According to the engineers, aircraft equipped with the Israeli AIR EW system will be able to overcome these cutting edge defense systems of Russia’s. But why are Russian anti-aircraft defense systems featured in Raphael’s promotional video?

The AIR EW electronic warfare system has 3 components: Sky Shield (operational long range radar), Light Shield (operational radar) and the X-Guard container, designed to attract the missile. The AIR EW system is in the final stage of development.

The fact that Russian systems figure in the promotional video of foreign military companies shows that they recognize the military supremacy of Russian armament, analysts say.

“Of course, in promoting their products, the best weapons are always chosen as potential targets. And the S-400 is the best air defense system, which is confirmed by the aspiration of countries like Turkey and Saudi Arabia to buy it, despite the dissatisfaction of Washington or NATO,” Russian military analyst Andrei Koshkin posited.

In fact, foreign experts do not even seem to have complete information on the capabilities of the S-400. Discussions about whether or not the Israeli system will be able to overcome the Russian S-400 is meaningless because the new system has not yet participated in any military activity, he said.

Demand for the Russian S-400 air defense system is so high that a representative of the company has said ironically that the production capacities of these systems are limited, according to the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung.

According to Russian President Putin’s advisor, Vladimir Kozhin, there are a number of countries ready to receive Russian air defense systems from Southeast Asia and Middle Eastern countries to numerous others, including NATO member Turkey and the main Arab ally of the United States, Saudi Arabia.
