Compared with past ceremonies, the scenario of the inauguration of the Russian president will not be too different. Currently, the preparation of this event has entered its final stage.
As the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov told reporters, there will be no relocation (the president) as there is no need for this move.
“Do not forget that last time the president moved from the Government House to the Kremlin, so we had to cross through Moscow” Peskov said, reminding that in 2012 Vladimir Putin took over as president from the position of prime minister.
According to Peskov, the bulk of the training has been completed. The presidential press secretary also noted that the entourage may be made up of the new fleet. The presidential vehicles have recently switched from BMW to Russian made cars.
The inauguration of the president will be held on May 7. The new head of state, Vladimir Putin, will step into a new six-year term.
