LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky has said that if he wins the presidential election, he will pursue a more harsh policy towards Ukraine.
“We do not offer war, but we propose to pursue a strict policy so that they are afraid. What kind of foreign policy is made up of concessions? In Ukraine, we made concessions – the Donbass burns, thousands of people die … With Ukraine it is necessary to decide one way or the other. This can not be announced to the people, exactly how we will do it,” Zhirinovsky said today at a press conference in Moscow.
“I would tell him: Kurt, for us, Ukraine is our neighbourly country. Therefore, we will not make any concessions here. If there is an offensive by the militia of Donbass, we will not stop them, and they will reach Kiev easily. Evacuate your embassy in advance,” Zhirinovsky said.
