EAST GHOUTA, Syria – The Syrian Army, led by the elite Tiger Forces, has liberated Rahyan village in East Ghouta to the east of Damascus city center.

This comes as earlier today the Syrian Army, led by the elite Republican Guard, liberated the village of Beit Naem from the Jaish al-Islam terrorist organization in the southern portion of East Ghouta, as reported by FRN.

This means that terrorist organizations are facing immense pressure from the Syrian Army on the eastern, southern and western fronts of East Ghouta, with the eastern front creeping up on sites in the north of the besieged pocket.

In just a month of operations, the Syrian Army has liberated over 40% of the region, but are yet to take a major town such as Irbin, Jobar, Harasta and Duma.

With the multi-prong offensive, it is expected that the Syrian Army will attempt to create pockets within the East Ghouta pocket to hinder the flow of arms and manpower from one from of East Ghouta to another.

It is hoped that the terrorists fighting in East Ghouta will agree to evacuate to another part of Syria, most likely jihadist-held Idlib in northwest Syria, or the southern area of Daraa near the Jordanian border.
