Vladimir Putin  has asked the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin not to allow panic over rumours in social networks about the causes of the tragedy in Kemerovo. At the same time, the president emphasizes that “of course, all versions must be verified, without exception.”

“The version of some kind of intruders, of course, is very convenient for those who are suspects today,” Tass quoted the president as saying : “This is first. Second, we see that, unfortunately, there are inroads through social networks, including , from abroad, that want to sow panic and distrust, to push people against themselves. This, of course, can not be allowed under any circumstances. ”

According to Alexander Bastrykin, the investigation will take at least three months. He promised to speed up the process as much as possible and ask his fellow experts to do the same.

The tragedy in the Kemerovo shopping center “Winter Cherry” occurred on Sunday, March 25. According to the latest information, as a result of the fire, more than 60 people were killed, most of them children. The fire began on the fourth floor where the entertainment center was located. According to eyewitnesses, when the fire began, the doors of the cinemas were locked, and the warning system did not work. Social networks have been flooded with false information about the number of dead, mostly by people from abroad.
