Ukrainian coal miners of the Ukrainian company “Selidovugol”, in the occupied territory of the DPR, have blocked two main roads in both directions – they reasonably demand payment of their wages, which have not been paid in some time.

This was reported by the head of the independent trade union of miners of Ukraine, Mikhail Volynets.

“At the moment, miners and their families have blocked two roads in both directions from the city of Selidovo. The first one leads to Kurakhovo, Marinka and Krasnogorovka and is of great strategic importance, especially for the Ukrainian military. The second leads towards Novogrodovka,” Volynets said.

The buses that transported miners to the second shift of the day were also blocked. They are being prevented from working the mines.

It is not specified how long the civil action is planned for.
