EAST GHOUTA, Syria – Helicopters belonging to the Syrian military have dropped leaflets for civilians in East Ghouta to the east of Damascus.
The leaflets called for civilians to evacuate the region at the soonest possible moment before the intense battle to liberate the jihadist-held area begins.
The leaflet gave clear instructions on how to flee the region through a humanitarian corridor.
The leaflet guaranteed to fleeing civilians that they will have safety, food, shelter and free medical services, with them being able to return to their homes immediately after the terrorists have been defeated.
This has been ignored by the mainstream media and we can expect the usual propaganda that the Syrian government are targeting their own civilians. Rather, any civilians unfortunately killed has meant that they either voluntarily decided to stay in the region when an exit has been opened for them, or the jihadists have prevented civilians from leaving the besieged region.
