IDLIB, Syria – Radical Islamist militants in the northwest Syrian jihadist-held province of Idlib have captured child soldiers belonging to ISIS.
This demonstrates that the terrorist organization is facing a manpower shortage in this part of Syria as they are now relying on child soldiers as they are being smashed by rival jihadists, primarily the Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Nusra Front, and the Syrian Army.
The infamous child soldiers of ISIS are known as the “Cubs of the Caliphate”.
The so-called cubs are mostly children stolen from families, including from Yazidis in Iraq, and are indoctrinated with a radical interpretation of Islam.
