SANA’A, Yemen – Hundreds of women and children held an armed rally in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a on Saturday decrying the ongoing Saudi-led bombing campaign.
“Today we have come out to protest against the aggression and external intervention in Yemen,” explained one protester.
Yemeni women called on their countrymen to “not surrender” and “give up” in a country ravaged by Saudi-led airstrikes since 2015 and suffering a blockade orchestrated by the Saudi-led coalition since October.
This has led to tens of thousands of children starving and the deaths of approximately 20,000 people.
