The scandalous law “on the Reintegration of Donbass”, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada in recent days, has been ‘blocked’ for ratification until early February.
This happened after the deputies from the faction of the “Opposition bloc” Alexander Vilkul, Yuri Boyko and Mikhail Papiev submitted a draft resolution on the cancellation of the law.
Ex-MP of Ukraine Vladimir Oleynik wrote:
“The request for the repeal of the adopted law requires postponing its signing by the chairman of the parliament and transferring it for signature to the president.
Regulations require consideration of this decision at the next meeting of the parliament.
For the Verkhovna Rada it is February 6, when the deputies will return from the winter holidays. If 226 deputies vote in favour, the “Law on the reintegration of Donbass” must be annulled,” Oleynik writes.
