MOSCOW, Russia – Russia has told Turkey to ensure a ceasefire in the jihadist-held province of Idlib following drone attacks on a Russian base in Syria’s Latakia province.
The Russian Ministry of Defense released another image of captured UAVs carrying several improvised explosive devices in Latakia on Wednesday.
Recent reports from the Ministry of Defense suggests that the drone launch was conducted from the position in the Idlib de-escalation zone, which was established by Russia, Iran and Turkey but is controlled by Ankara.
Russia has now warned Turkey to control its jihadists and for them not to attack the Russian base again.
This comes as the Syrian Army are smashing jihadist positions in Idlib province. Full details can be read here.
