IDLIB, Syria – In a little over a week, ISIS has doubled its area of control on the Idlib axis (southern Idlib countryside-northern Hama countryside-southern Aleppo countryside).
Previously they were only in northern Hama countryside, but with their rapid advancement against their main jihadist rivals, the Al-Qaeda affiliated Al-Nusra Front, and against the Syrian Army, they have now entered Aleppo and Idlib provinces.
The following visual map shows their advancements made.

Al-Nusra affiliated media released the map at the top of the article and claimed that “The regime [Syrian government] is giving ISIS a free pass to the Sinjar town.”
ISIS has captured towns from the Syrian Army which has put them on the outskirts of the pivotal town of Sinjar. Full details of this advancement by the terrorist organization can be read here.
Panic has struck Al-Nusra activists with one stating that the”rebels needs to capture Sinjar before ISIS does, otherwise it will have huge consequences on Idlib.”
