Russian presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak will visit the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, where she will take part in the discussion on “the post-authoritarian future of Russia” on February 6.
“Join us for a conversation with the candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation, Ksenia Sobchak, about the prospects and hope for Russia’s post-authoritarian future,” reads the organization’s website.
In addition, Sobchak’s visit to the United States may extend to February 8 for the annual National Prayer Breakfast, at which US President Donald Trump will be present.
Last year’s breakfast was attended by a large delegation from Ukraine, headed by Yulia Tymoshenko. Participation in the event involves an obligatory charitable contribution of about 10 thousand dollars.
