AFRIN, Syria – Turkish-led forces have continued their march against the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) militia after recapturing a mountaintop. Details can be found here.
Since then, Turkish-led forces, primarily the Turkish military and their Syrian proxies, captured Adama village and Hamam from the YPG.
In addition they also captured five strategic hills overlooking to Rajo area with Turkish warplanes carrying out several airstrikes on the outskirts of Rajo.
Turkish-led forces aim to eradicate the YPG from the Afrin canton as Ankara recognizes the Kurdish group as a terrorist organization.
