REYHANLI, Turkey – A 17 year old Turkish girl has been killed in rocket attack by the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG).
YPG forces in the Syrian northwest canton of Afrin launched two rockets that hit the town of Reyhanlı near the Syrian border.
The YPG have been carrying out revenge attacks across the border as Turkish-led forces, primarily the Turkish military and their Syrian proxies, are carrying out an operation to clear the Afrin canton of the YPG, that Ankara recognizes as a terrorist organization.
Numerous innocent Kurdish civilians have been killed in Afrin by Turkish warplanes dropping bombs on civilian targets.
