A US Air Force RQ-4A Global Hawk conducted a reconnaissance over Ukraine and the area of the so-called “ATO” on January 7. This is evidenced by the data of the Flightradar24 service.

A strategic American reconnaissance aircraft took off from an airbase on the island of Sicily. It then flew a course over Vinnytsia, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Odessa regions.

The RQ-4A Global Hawk flew to the line of demarcation in the zone of armed conflict in the Donbass, but did not cross it and did not appear in the airspace above the territories of the Donbass republics.

Last night two US military aircraft carried out reconnaissance reconnaissance along the entire coast of the Crimea on the Black Sea.

In October, the commander of the 4th Air Force and Army Air Defense, Lieutenant-General Viktor Sevostyanov, said that American unmanned aerial vehicles and reconnaissance planes regularly fly near the southern borders of Russia.

Earlier, in September, the American Analytical Center Atlantic Council recommended that the US “unblock” the Kerch Strait with the help of military vessels.
