PESHAWAR, Pakistan – Three gunmen shot dead at least nine people after entering an agricultural college in Peshawar on Friday.

At least 36 people are believed to also have been injured in the attack.

Gunmen dressed in burkas entered the Peshawar Agriculture Training Institute by rickshaw before opening fire. Police have now killed all three gunmen.

Military re-enforcement and police officers cordoned off the campus, as ambulances worked to bring the injured away from the scene.

A student who managed to escape the college said, “Two men in hijabs entered and started continuous firing and we – three to four students – escaped from the hostel. We crossed the hostel wall and entered the warden’s home as 60 to 70 people were stranded inside. Security said three to four people are injured.”
