SANA’A, Yemen – The last few hours has been rumor central on whether ex-Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh was killed or not.
It has now been confirmed that he was killed as he was attempting to leave Sana’a after his failed power grab.

Saleh last week betrayed his Houthi militia allies by attempting to make a power grab and gain control of Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, exclusively under his own factions control.
This comes as earlier today attempts were made to reconcile between Saleh and the current recognized Saudi-backed president, Hadi, who is based in Yemen’s second city of Aden.
Intense clashes have been raging between the Houthi militia and their tribal allies with the Saleh faction.
The Houthis, their tribal allies and the Yemeni army are resisting Saudi aggression on Yemen, but it seemed like Saleh was attempting to reconcile relations with Saudi Arabia.
