DEIR EZZOR, Syria – ISIS terrorists have claimed to have sustained 70 casualties on the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) today in the eastern province of Deir Ezzor.
The attack took place in the village of Al-Bahra on the eastern side of the Euphrates Shield.
Although the village is under the control of the US-backed SDF, the Kurdish-led forces failed to secure the village which allowed a German-born jihadist to carry out a suicide attack.
The resulting attack killed 20 SDF fighters and injured a further 50, according to an ISIS bulletin released earlier today.
It took the SDF two days to capture the town, demonstrating that ISIS are still capable of putting up stiff resistance and carry out deadly attacks.
