MOSCOW, Russia – Bashir Saleh Bashir, a former aide to deceased Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, said that promoting national dialogue is key to resolving the Libyan crisis, in an interview with RT in Moscow on Tuesday.
“We are here to rebuild the state by bringing all the Libyans together,” he said.
At present, the one-time head of Libya’s sovereign wealth fund said he considers the north African country to be a “failed state.”
Under Gaddafi, Libya was Africa’s most richest and progressive country.
