SANA’A, Yemen. Photos of terrified children from schools in the neighbourhood of Albolaily in the Yemeni capital city of Sana’a have surfaced on the worldwide web after jets of the Saudi-led coalition conducted series of raids in the area.
It shall be noted that the Saudi-led coalition frequently relies on bombing the civilian areas in order to put pressure on the Yemeni Resistance.
Meanwhile, Yemeni Resistance (Houthi rebels and forces loyal to the ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh) managed to regain control of Mount Sawalha in Al Maqatirah District, located in the north of the province of Lahij in southern Yemen.
A Yemeni military source said another advancement attempt by the Hadi junta loyalists has been thwarted, the third one of its kind in just two days amid battles to regain control of the key strategic positions in Jabal Al Sawalha, located on the road linking the provinces of Taiz and Lahij, noting that the Resistance has been dominating the area for about a week now.
The source added that at least 13 Hadi junta loyalists got killed or wounded, describing their operation as a “complete failure.”
Later, Yemeni Resistance launched a counter-offensive operation that ended victoriously as the Resistance regained control over several positions of the Hadi junta loyalists south of Taiz province, namely in the area of Heifan, where a number of its members got killed and injured during the operation.
This comes right after another Resistance attack on the positions of Hadi junta loyalists south of the town of Shazli in Al Mukha District, which resulted in at least eight Hadi loyalists being left dead or injured, in addition to destruction of a military mechanism southwest of Taiz.
In Al Jawf province, Yemeni Resistance seized a number of different weapons following a successful attack on the positions of Hadi junta loyalists in the town of Al Ghurfah, located in the Hadhramaut province in east-central Yemen.
Beyond the Yemeni border, particularly in the southern Saudi province of Najran, Resistance Forces fired several Katyusha rockets at Saudi military positions in the Sudais and Al Sharfa areas, in parallel with artillery shelling that trargeted the Saudi positions in Ain Ayn, Al Khadra and Jabal Slatah areas.
In response, the Saudi-led coalition aircrafts launched series of raids on the positions of the Yemeni Ressitance in Jabal Al Shorfa in Najran (inside Saudi territory).
The Resistance carried out heavy artillery shelling of fortifications of the Saudi Army in the areas of Ghawiya, Jabal Al Dukhan and Qaeem in Jizan, in conjunction with the air raids of the Saudi-led coalition that targeted the border village of Qamar.
