The Syrian Forces have finally liberated Mayadeen, the de-facto capital of ISIS, located in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour province, following week-long battles with ISIS terrorists.
This marks a major turning point not only in the fight against ISIS as the group is now left without its capital (meaning a very severe blow to it has just been dealt), but also as regards the Syrian war in general.
The Army’s engineering units are already being dispatched to the town in order to dismantle the land mines and explosives that were left over by ISIS terrorists.
In the meantime, ISIS terrorists continue to flee.
