Hungary is preparing to annex Transcarpathia – this was stated on the TV channel ZIK by the Director of the Institute of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences, Pavel Gritsenko.
According to him, Hungary is openly supporting its diaspora in the area. In previous years, the Verkhovna Rada gave the Hungarian language regional status there.
The Hungarians have more civil liberties than others, because there is no Bulgarian university for example, as there is a Hungarian one in Transcarpathia. “There is preparation of a new annexation of the Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region,”– said Gritsenko.
