New Round of Geneva Talks to Begin on July 10th

Office of Staffan de Mistura, the United Nations’ special envoy for Syria, issued an official statement on Saturday, saying the new round of Geneva negotiations on settlement of the Syrian crisis, will kick off on July 10th, with the deadline for invitees being set to the day earlier. 

Expert meetings of the consultative process on constitutional and legal issues, which were established at the sixth round of the Geneva talks back in May, will continue.

The statement further added de Mistura has plans for at least one more session, scheduled to take place somewhere between the late August and early September.
