A total of 300 boxes of toys, stationery and educational games have been collected from a Moscow school for a very special school in Donetsk.
The school stands in the village of Sahanka in Novoazovskiy area of Donetsk. It has been fired at numerous times by tanks, so much so that the entire facade of the school is in fragments. In the wall of the gym is a hole left behind by a shell. There remain around 30 children who go to the school, and easily distinguish artillery from mortar shelling, as well as know with accurate precision how long it takes to run to the underground shelter.
May 27th was the student’s last day before the summer holidays broke. They were handed letters and boxes of gifts from Moscow students. The children are said to be sincerely grateful but requested only one wish – to live in peace.
