Units of the Syrian Army continued their strikes against gatherings and movements of ISIS in Deir Ez Zour city and the surrounding areas on Monday.

According to the field reports, scores of ISIS terrorists were killed when Syrian Air Force units raided their positions in the village of Al Baghliyeh, Al Tharda junction, Al Reshdiyeh neighbourhood and the surrounding areas of Al Panorama and Syrian Army Regiment 137, located south-west of Deir Ez Zour city.

Apart from terrorists, supplies and equipment, mortar launcher including, were also destroyed.

As the terrorists are losing their war, they often like to put pressure on civilians.

6 persons were killed and 37 were left injured, among them and women and children, after ISIS terrorists shelled Al Qusor , Al Jourah and Harabesh neighborhoods in Deir Ez Zour City.

The number of deceased is expected to rise as many of the injured are in a critical condition.

In Damascus, three people were injured after terrorists, stationed in Eastern Ghouta shelled Al Mazraa district. The move is also highly controversial, given that it acts as a grave violation of the Russia-brokered memorandum on establishing de-escalation zones within Syrian territory and to which terrorist groups, based in Eastern Ghouta, previously obliged.

In the southern province of Daraa, five people, among them two women and a child, were injured after terrorists shelled Maisaloun Al Sahari, and Al Dahiya neighbourhoods and the Military Housing in Darra Al Balad area.

Meanwhile, 2640 former militants from the areas of Maddaya,Al Abadan, and Boukein in Damascus countryside, had their legal status settled by turning themselves in to the authorities. The move comes in the scope of a reconciliation agreement that came in effect back on April 21st.

The surrendered militants will not serve their jail sentences. Rather, they will return to their normal lives under a precondition of not picking up their weapons against the Syrian armed or security forces.
