The intensity of shelling of Donetsk has returned to the level of 2015. This was reported today by the speaker of the DPR parliament, Denis Pushilin, at the Federation Council of the Russian Federation at a session of the Committee for Public Support for the Residents of South-East Ukraine.
“Unfortunately, Donetsk and Makeevka were recently subjected to shelling. There are wounded and killed, including women and children. There haven’t been such shellings in a long time. According to the intensity and number of shells, this is comparable to August 0f 2015. It is noteworthy that gunners have not been shooting at the positions of our army, but at residential sectors. All shells have landed in residential sectors. This raises many questions. A meeting of the working group was convened, by no results were attained.
Even if we prove our positions convincingly with the amount and direct of projectiles, then Ukraine will, as before, use just one justification: that we have shot at ourselves. They haven’t come up with anything new,” Pushilin said.
