Translated by J. Arnoldski

On the temporarily occupied territory of the LPR, atrocities continue to be committed against the local population by fighters of the UAF and representatives of punitive organs.

Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies are rounding up residents whose relatives live on the territory of the LPR. This was reported by the official representative of the defense ministry of the LPR, Major Andrey Marochko, and conveyed to one of our correspondents at a briefing today.

According to Marochko, the facts of atrocities and “excesses” by Ukrainian soldiers have not been investigated and have not been disclosed.

“But according to our sources, in Stanitsa Luganskaya, joint raids being carried out by the UAF, Interior Ministry, and SBU are seeking to identify individuals whose relatives live on the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic. Such individuals are accused of being accomplices to servicemen of the People’s Militia of the LPR,” Andrey Marochko said.

According to him, cases of the disappearances of local residents allegedly detained by the SBU “to be subject to interrogation” have become known.

“Then these people are presented to us as prisoners of war,” the speaker of the People’s Militia remarked.
