The US Navy released a new video of the flight of Russian aircraft over the USS Donald Cook destroyer in the Baltic sea in April.

The US military has published more than 20 videos on the channel The Virginian Pilot in response to the request in accordance with the law on freedom of information.

Russian Su-24 flew over the US destroyer in mid-April. The Russian Defense Ministry said that the crews of the Su-24 aircraft of the Russian space forces performed routine training flights over neutral waters of the Baltic sea.

“The flight path of Russian aircraft passed through an area where the US Navy destroyer USS Donald Cook was approximately 70 km from the Russian naval base. Having located the ship in a zone of visual sight, the Russian pilots undertook a maneuver that was in accordance with all the necessary safety rules,” said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Major-General Igor Konashenkov.

White house spokesman Josh Earnest then expressed concern about the information about the flight of the Su-24.
