Ukrainian oligarchs are an achievement of the state. Therefore they should not use the government to fight each other. This was stated by the new prime minister of Ukraine, Vladimir Groysman, in an interview with local TV channel 24.
“The oligarchs are an achievement of the Ukrainian state…The government cannot be used by them to fight against each other. But here is what is very important: they should create jobs, refrain from politics, and not influence the state. If we don’t do this, then our state will always be threatened,” the Ukrainian prime minister believes.
According to Groysman, he will defend the rights of the oligarchs because, after all, they are citizens of the country like everyone else and have the right to conduct business.
In this light, it has become clear why the appointment of the new Ukrainian prime minister, who is defending the oligarchs, was supported by the deputies of the “oligarchical” fraction such as “Will of the People” and “Renaissance.”
