For more productive work in combating terrorism, the FSB will need to interact with international partners through the UN, the SCO and the CSTO. This was stated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin at the board meeting of the FSB.
The head of state stressed that the interest of colleagues from abroad in cooperation of power structures is definitely growing.
Putin drew the attention of the board to the fact that the “enemies on the hill” are already preparing for the fall elections of the State Duma.
“So everyone should know that we will work to protect our interests aggressively, in accordance with our law”, — quotes TASS from the Russian President.
Noting the major challenges before employees of FSB, Putin stated the necessity “to protect the crooks from” public funds, especially those allocated for defence and security. An important direction, according to the President, remains economic security. He recalled that only just last year they managed to suppress the activity of 98 groups, with 2,200 people being convicted for crimes of an economic nature.
