Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree allocating 3.56 billion rubles to young families for the purchase or construction of housing, according to the official website of the Cabinet.
“The signed Directive distributes subsidies amounting to 3.56 billion rubles… to co-finance expenditure commitments to provision of social payments to young families for the purchase (construction) of housing,” — it said in reference to the document.
Young families without children who need improvements of housing conditions can claim social benefits in the amount of at least 30% of the estimated cost of housing. Families with one child or more can receive subsidies in the amount of at least 35% of the estimated value.
Grants are distributed between the budgets of the 65 subjects of the Russian Federation in the framework of the subprogram “Providing housing for young families” in the Federal program “Housing” for the years 2015-2020.
