Moscow hosted an exhibition of online cartoons called “Exceptional U.S. Presidents”, organized by the community of artists “Studio 13”. The event was dedicated to the Day of the presidents of America (Presidents’ Day), which is celebrated annually in the United States on the third Monday of February.

The artists portrayed the owners of the White house from the perspective of the crimes they had committed during their reign.

“We relied only on historical facts. During the reign of these people America fought wars and intervened in the affairs of other states. And it so happened that the presidents totalled thirteen. Such is the exhibition of thirteen evil presidents”, — the artist Evgeny Gurin told Ridas.

The exhibition shows the history of the reign of President Ronald Reagan. The US under Reagan conducted, in 1983, the invasion of the island nation of Grenada. Three years later, the U.S. air force conducted a series of raids on targets in Libya.

“Between 1980 and 1988 in Central America, in the bloodshed unleashed by the U.S, more than 200,000 people were killed. In South Africa they killed half a million people. In addition, the South African republics were damaged to the sum of 60 billion dollars”, — reads the text written on the caricature of Reagan.

And current U.S. President Barack Obama, the artists accused him of financing the regime of Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, who waged war against South Ossetia. Also, in their opinion, Mr. Obama is guilty of the illegal penetration into computer networks of the East Asian fiber-optic network “Rasnet”, the coup in Ukraine and supporting the genocide of the peaceful population of Donbass.
