The number of suicides among U.S. military personnel over the past year has doubled. This applies to those included in the reserves and veterans. This was reported by Sputnik with reference to the report of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the publication, the number of suicides in the United States Navy has increased from 1  in the summer of 2014 to to 8 in the summer of 2015. The number of suicides in the army from 16 to 30.

In the third quarter of 2015, there were 72 cases of suicide among the military personnel of the army and 70 cases among the military reserves, among which 32 were on military reserve National Guard duty of the United States.
