Within three days
since the beginning of military operation in Syria the Russian aircraft struck
more than 50 major infrastructure objects of “Islamic state” militants
– command posts, communication centers, ammunition depots, storage facilities
of combustive-lubricating materials, etc. Panic is spreading among the
militants, they leave their positions in Syria,
and several hundred have tried to get into Europe.

According to the
Russian intelligence, “Islamic state” extremists are hastily leaving
their positions in Syria and
trying to get into Europe. On October 3 it was
reported by the Head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of
Col. Gen. Andrei Kartapolov.

intelligence has noticed that militants are leaving the areas under their
control. About 600 mercenaries left their positions and trying to get into Europe “- said General Kartapolov.

Panic and
desertion in the ranks of terrorists began after the attacks of the Russian air
forces. In three days of the operation strike aircraft managed to undermine the
material base of terrorists and reduce their combat potential.

“The strikes
were carried out around the clock from the Russian air base in Latakia hitting
targets on the whole territory
of Syria. In three days
we have been able to undermine the material base of the terrorists and to
significantly reduce their combat capabilities”, – said Kartapolov.

The Head of the
Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff also noted that the Russian
aviation group will continue to increase the intensity of attacks.

Only in the last 24
hours Russian planes destroyed nine objects of the extremists carrying out 20
missions, most of them at night.

The aircraft used
against the Islamists in Syria
is using guided missiles and the latest high-precision bombs that are adjusted
by GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System).

The representative
of the military department said: “During the attacks on the terrorist
infrastructure the Russian air-force is using the latest high-precision
weapons, in particular, guided aerial bombs. Such a bomb adjusts its course
after leaving the wing of the aircraft via a GLONASS satellite. It also
receives the target coordinates from the plane. Its accuracy is two meters,
regardless of the weather and time of day. This makes it possible to accurately
hit targets of the Islamists, excluding civilian casualties”.

Su-34 bombers discharge
air bombs and launch missiles from a height of 5 km. Therefore, those whom
they attack, do not see or hear the aircraft itself.
