WOKE: Are US/Russia secretly on the same page? [Video]

    February 4 , 2018 - FRN -
    Translated by Inessa Sinchougova

On January 29, 2018, the U.S. Treasury Department released an unclassified list of “influential Russians” linked to the Kremlin. Dubbed the “Kremlin list,” the document was a legal requirement of a widened sanctions bill passed by Congress last year. The bill was the “Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act of 2017”, a U.S. response to Russian alleged interference in the 2016 presidential election. The Treasury was asked to draw up a list of “oligarchs and parastatal entities” within 6 months.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party – which is Russia’s 3rd most popular political party after United Russia and the Communist Party – asserts that the “Kremlin List” is a good thing. It shows, in his view, that Donald Trump is showcasing all those individuals who need not be defended by Russia; those who take their money out of Russia, and live abroad for the most part. They simply make their money in Russia but do not invest in it.

The key difference is that this list was presented in Western media as oligarchs “close to Putin” – but Zhirinovsky himself states that most of them got rich during the Yeltsin era. Given that Zhirinovsky is anti-current establishment, I thought it was interesting to publish this video for those people who believe that there are no opposition voices on Russian national TV, and that Putin’s party controls information media with an iron fist.

According to Zhirinovsky, those oligarchs who paid off US lobbyists sufficient amounts of money, were left off the list. He also reveals that Russia’s liberal ex-Finance Minister Kudrin syphoned as much as 1/3 of Russia’s budget to America over the course of a decade, while Russia’s Central Bank head deliberately harms the Russian economy. For these reasons, in his view, the two were left off the list.

Zhirinovsky goes on to say that he believes the US and Russia are actually in collaboration – that proxy conflicts are pre-agreed between the countries’ special services, and cessions are made on each side. What do you think?
