Not Israel, not a "technical fault" - terrorist group claims responsibility for explosion on Syrian Army that killed three soldiers

January 11, 2018 - Fort Russ News - Paul Antonopoulos

LATAKIA, Syria - Yesterday much confusion reigned about an explosion that killed Syrian Army members in a village in the Syrian Mediterranean province of Latakia.

Yesterday FRN broke the story of an explosion that occurred in the village of Slinfah. Details can be read here.

Although a Syrian military official claimed the explosion was due to a "technical issue", a terrorist group has since claimed the attack that hit a weapons depot.

The Abo Ammarah group announced responsibility for yesterday's attack without elaborating how. It is believed to have been done with a drone.

There were also false reports yesterday that Israel had conducted the attack on the weapons depot. Details can be read here.
