January 19, 2018 - Fort Russ News - Paul Antonopoulos

ALEPPO, Syria - The Free Syrian Army (FSA) in areas it controls with Turkish-backing in northern Syria has begun relocating its forces into Turkey so that it can launch an operation against the Kurdish  People's Protection Units (YPG) in the Afrin canton of northern Syria.

The huge FSA convoy from North Aleppo countryside is going towards Al-Ra'i town at the borders between Turkey and Syria.

This is in preparation to be sent to the fronts for the upcoming Afrin operation, especially as only earlier today a Turkish minister guaranteed the operation will occur. Full details can be read here.

In response to what seems like an inevitable invasion, Kurds in Afrin have come out in a show of force in support of the YPG. Details and photos can be found here.
