Yes, Nikki Haley is technically correct with her Iran claims being 'irrefutable'. Before you rage-quit on me here, or accuse us of having been placed on Wall Street's payroll, this is what we mean:

For a statement to have truth content, there has to be some way it can be refuted. There has to be some way it can be tested - to be falsified. Only with a way that it can be refuted, that is falsified, is it then making some testable claim - and if it then passes that test, we can say it has truth value.

So Haley is making a technically, perhaps even a legally correct claim when she says she has 'Irrefutable evidence'.  Indeed, hers are faith-based claims - she simply believes them to be true.

So she's just trolled the world. Imagine that demented grin on her face, going back to her hotel room that night. She probably thinks she's the smartest person on the planet, that none of her detractors have put the dots together, and realized why what she's said is technically true.

She's saying 'My claims can't be tested', but then she's playing upon what the phrase 'irrefutable' casually means. In English, we treat this as identical to indisputable. But these are very different terms, technically speaking. Indisputable means ipso-facto true - obviously true. Irrefutable means there is no way to refute it. Boy, did Haley have fun with this one!

    See what she did there?

There's no such thing, if we split hairs, as irrefutable evidence  - just as there's no such thing as untestable evidence.

Haley's statements are so detached from anything resembling rational discourse, they are so easily disputable that they have past the point of no-return, and have gone to the realm of incoherent, unfalsifiable, untestable claims. These generally work like this, described in this link ----> 'Unfalsifiability'. Let's adapt, or rather remix, how the site 'Logically Fallacious'  constructs it, suited to the Iran 'scandal'.

"Description: Confidently asserting that a theory or hypothesis is true or false even though the theory or hypothesis cannot possibly be contradicted by an observation or the outcome of any physical experiment, usually without strong evidence or good reasons.

Making unfalsifiable claims is a way to leave the realm of rational discourse, since unfalsifiable claims are often faith-based, and not founded on evidence and reason.

    Example #1:

Iran has a growing banned nuclear program, invisible and undetectable to us because they are happening in places we can't go to, because they will always just relocate to places we can't be, given that we can't be there at all times in all places. And they've transported weapons to Houthis in Yemen, using channels we haven't discovered, and can't be discovered because they will always be in the places we can't detect -   Unfortunately, these cannot be detected by any kind of investigation, scientific equipment, or scrutiny.

Explanation: While it may actually be a fact that Iran is doing all these things, it is a theory that is constructed so it cannot be falsified in any way; therefore, should not be seriously considered without significant evidence.
    "

See our screenshot below of the most important part of the Reuters News story, that ran yesterday. As we're not interested in generating traffic for them, we're not giving a link. You can sort that if you want to see the whole story, or if you don't believe it ran that way, over at the fake-news billionaire's blog called 'Reuters'.

But from an artistic angle, from the art of trolling the world, Haley's move should be seen as a masterful homage, even a reboot, of Colin Powell's 2003 directoral debut classic 'Iraq has WMD', starring himself, written by Cheney and Rumsfeld, and produced by Wolfowitz and Pearl .

Given the production side's improved use of budget, it really puts to shame the terrible 'low-budg'  version rolled out by Netanyahu back in that 2012 flop. How Benjamin's prop department let that one pass muster is anyone's guess. Unless it was his nephew with just 30 minutes, a printer, and a glue-stick, we'd be willing to bet a head or two rolled after that critical misfire.

Now that Netanyahu's box office bomb set the bar even lower than Powell's CGI in full color, Haley's presentation of a rusted out metal object, can only be seen as sheer cinematic genius.

Mystery locations, disproving negatives, mobile WMD labs, absence of evidence - evidence of absence, known unknowns and unknown unknowns. The whole tune is stuck on repeat, like a contrived top 40 hit being pushed on your ears twenty times a day until you bob your head to it. What Haley is saying to press and promises to say at the UN, is no different in either form or substance, to what 'justified' the US invasion and destruction of Iraq - the critical event that set this whole slow-burn Apocalypse event, in motion.

What she promises her paymasters, is to deliver an upcoming UN performance guaranteed to make even Colin Powell blush.

However, even if we play with the idea that Iran supplied Yemeni rebels with the missiles fired at Saudi Arabia, and this is taken as evidence of direct Iranian culpability, then the US and Europe is directly culpable in 90% of the conflicts going on around the world, since this is the percent of the source of all weapons being used in proxy wars globally, today.

You're probably both tired of, and inoculated to, this old neo-con canard, this song and dance. But millions of folks aren't.

No one not on their dole likes playing into their game, giving this story more legs than it deserves. But when these neo-cons make entirely ridiculous statements and accusations, we journalists - speaking truth to power - have to clean it up.

And here's the Reuters write up on the piece that shows that our interpretation of what Haley means by 'irrefutable' is the correct one.

In script writing, or as with the power of suggestion, you foreshadow something and tell people what they will be soon seeing.  This alone can distort their perception of it. The bigger the lie, the more  believable it is. Put that lie on repeat, and soon we believe it, without a single piece of falsifiable evidence being presented.
