The 5 Hallmarks of Hillary supporter psychosis

    December 3rd, 2017 - Fort Russ News -
    - Denis Churilov, for FRN -

I recently had a face-to-face chat with an American from Washington DC, a certified Democratic Party supporter in their mid-20's. We started talking about politics (yes, really! what were the chances of that happening!?).
    What I've learned from them:

    1. Trump won the election because the US media felt obligated to cover both sides and give them equal air time and coverage, to make it fair, thus exposing people to Trump's rhetoric.

    2. The biggest issue with the US foreign policy is that people and countries around the world ask the Americans for help, but then the United States get criticized when they actually come and try to change things, so it's all a bit confusing.

    3. Trump used the dirty tactics of focusing on Clinton's "emails" (they actually did the quotation marks gesture with their fingers), which were rather benign compared to what Trump has done by then.

When I brought up Libya and what Hillary did when she was a State Secretary under Obama, they didn't know what I was talking about. When I explained (in a rather dry and neutral tone), I was informed that...

    4. She probably did what was best back then, because we can't possibly know what could have happened if it wasn't for her decisions...
    Oh! And...

    5. Sanders didn't make it in because he went too far-left on certain issues.

When they were talking about Trump ("He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named"), they were literally shaking. I am serious. Their voice was beginning to tremble, their hands were beginning to shake and their general posture was becoming agitated. I was afraid that they would collapse in a seizure, or something.
I have a degree in Psychology, so I decided not to question or challenge their statements further, out of ethical considerations.
What the hell was that? Like, I did know that those who consume their news from the likes of CNN and MSNBC exclusively tend to exhibit traits and behavioral patterns you would normally see in crazy religious cultists, but, seriously, WTF? They have a PhD in a Neurology-related field.
