How does Trump's big mistake on Jerusalem work well for Russia?

President Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. This happened after several days of active persuasion - but it isn't over. Facing pressure from everyone - the State Department, the Pope, Europe, and Arab and Muslim countries - Trump partially agreed - he postponed the transfer of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem for the next six months, but in the meantime announced recognition. That is, he decided cut this up into pieces.

Trump's decision drives a wedge between America and Europe, which has already been declared from Ms. Magerini's mouth, that there are limits to agreement with America, and that's the limit. Trump's decision will also affect Jordanian king, Abdullah II, who has already sharply condemned this step - and Abdallah provided the only bridge between the US bases in Syria and the rear.

Trump's decision could exacerbate the US break with Turkey - President Erdogan wanted to break off relations with Israel, and he could expel the US ambassador, especially since relations are already extremely tense both for the support of the Kurds and for the Turkish trader in the United States.

Trump's decision dealt a mortal blow to the Saudi peace plan. Of course, MBS is a total scumbag if he thought he could give Jerusalem to the Jews, but he would not even be able to try that in a new situation.

In Israel, the Jews are not so enthusiastic about this decision. Trump has not yet transferred the Embassy. But Netanyahu already said that, they say, this is the fulfillment of prophecies.

Why did Trump do this? He blamed President Obama who for his whole time in office did not move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, that so Trump now decided to do at least half of the matter.

President Trump justified the expectations of his supporters in Russia. He scored an excellent own-goal between the bars of American foreign policy. Of course, it would be better if he played for the Russian team, but since he is on the opposite team - let him score balls into his own net. No mistake was made by the Russian hackers who promoted him to the White House - he, though not a Gorbachev, will nevertheless harm the United States. And the decision on Jerusalem is already a good result.
