2018: Ukraine at an increased risk for separatism

    December 10, 2017 - FRN -

"The budget of the police state with an increase in utility tariffs and the impoverishment of the Ukrainian people will lead to the emergence of regional separatism in Ukraine." This was stated on the air of NewsOne channel by Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Ermolaev.

According to him, disillusioned with state power, the population of Ukraine will become more isolated from the elites.

"With those prices for housing and communal services, with the incomes of the people, it is impossible to live. What then can they do? People will focus on life in their region, on local authorities. There is a risk for small-town separatism. The budget situation and economic policy can give rise to a new wave of separatism, " Ermolaev said.

A reminder that the Ukraine has been officially found as the poorest country in Europe, in terms of incomes. So much for
    the Maidan.
