    Syrian Arab Army liberates two Aleppo villages, Homs attack thwarted

    SYRIA - Units of the Syrian Arab Army and allied forces, conducted special operations today against units of Jabhat al-Nusra in Aleppo’s southeastern countryside, liberating the villages of Mazraa and Azeizet Abeisan southwest of the town of Khanasir.

    According to the Syrian state news agency, SANA, the operations ended with the killing and injuring a number of al-Nusra terrorists, while the remaining terrorists fled to the neighboring villages. SAA and militia units are still pursing them and dismantling IDEs and mines planted by the terrorists in the streets, main squares, and houses.
    Also today, authorities thwarted two attacks by two suicide bombers in the city of Homs
    According to SANA, the military intelligence was able to foil two attempts by two terrorist bombers wearing explosive belts in Homs.
    He added that the first terrorist was intercepted near the local branch building of the Ba'ath Arab Socialist Party, while the second terrorist was intercepted near the Cultural Center in the western part of Homs.
