    Yevgeny Ivanov appointed as new Russian Deputy Foreign Minister by Putin

    Yevgeny Ivanov has been appointed as new Deputy Foreign Minister by Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

    Born in 1974, Yevgeny Ivanov is a graduate of Moscow State Institute of International relations and speaks English and Polish.

    He has been working in the Russian Foreign Ministry since 1995 and served as the Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Consular Department since 2013.
