September 2, 2017 - Fort Russ News - Paul Antonopoulos

The Syrian Minister of Electricity, Mohamed Zuhair Kharbotli, confirmed the stability of the electricity situation in the province of Aleppo after the implementation of a new power line, Muraselon reported.

The Minister of Electricity, during his meeting on the electrical maintenance workshops in the town of Talran in the eastern Aleppo countryside with Tourism Minister Beshr Yazji, said that the new line, which cost more than seven billion Syrian pounds, extends from Hama to Salamiya. The line carried out along the highway and was completed in a record period of eight months.

He pointed out that the improvement of the electrical reality in Aleppo will have a significant and positive impact on the economic and social reality and development, as well as on the reconstruction and construction projects in the city.

Kharboutli revealed the future steps to maintain the stability of electricity supply and supply Aleppo with more energy, including the import of five sets of generator capacity, with each having 25 megawatts.
