    Spain: Second Terror Attack in Less Than a Day

    At least one person was killed and six civilians and a policeman were injured after a car ran over a number of pedestrians on Cambrils beach, located 120 km south of Barcelona, ​​Spain, before it eventually stopped as the police opened fire on it. 

    “Suspected terrorists traveling in an Audi A3 drove over a number of people before they were confronted by police forces”, the authorities said.

    The police confirmed they had killed five terrorists who were traveling inside the car that was used to carry out the attack in Cambrils, noting that it was considered to be linked to yesterday's Barcelona terror attack.

    Some of the attackers were wearing explosive belts, police said.

    The explosives experts were also dispatched to the scene. 

    The emergency services in Catalonia said that one of the injured is in critical condition.

    According to a report on a local radio station, most of the streets in Cambrils were closed, while people gathered in restaurants and entertainment venues.

    Yesterday, a terror attack took place in the most crowded area in the Catalan city of Barcelona, claiming the lives of at least 13 people, children including, and leaving at least 100 more injured. 15 people are said to be in critical condition.
    The responsibility for the attack was claimed by ISIS. 

    So far, the Spanish authorities arrested 3 Moroccan and 1 Spanish citizen in connection with the carnage in Barcelona.
